On the beach.

A beach acts as a powerful force. It attacks your every sensation. The thick sea air caresses your face, the smell of salt fills your nose, the saturated blues and greens color the water and blind your eyes, the sound of waves ebbs and flows, and the endless grains of sand massage your feet. And with every sensation heightened, I find my mind active. It doesn’t hold back. It remembers things from the past that I thought were gone forever – and it imagines things about the future that had never before been imagines. When separated, the mind yearns for the beach in a way she thought impossible.

The beach is a drug that my mind is whole-heartedly addicted to.
